The picturesque Ribeira in the Douro river margin is just 20 minutes walking from the Hotel.

Yes, lots of them! We only recommend places where we go ourselves. They are typical (not tourist oriented), not expensive and you can eat very well there. More Info in the “Explore” page.

We are in the city centre, just outside the old town so there are many places to visit. From the famous Lello bookshop to the Clérigos Tower (where you can see the whole city), from Casa da Música to Ribeira,… We are in the perfect location!
Can we walk to the wine cellars?
Yes, although the wine cellars are in the other side of the river (Gaia side), you can walk in the lower deck of the D. Luís bridge and the cellars are just a few meters away. It´s about a 30 mins walk from the hotel.
Is there place to leave my luggage for a few hours in the check-out day?
Yes, no problem. We have a room prepared for that purpose.
